We offer business loans using two models
We offer loans to individuals organized into a group of 5 to 10 members. Because many of the clients in this category, require small loans of between 200k to 1million, these loans are usually secured with chattel as collateral security and group solidarity guarantee.
These are loans advanced to individuals and they are usually secured with tangible security like land and home/house or salary loan usually secured by appointment letter and recommendation letter from current employer.
GENPROF is a non-deposit taking micro financial institution fully registered in Uganda and regulated by Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority. Our core business is micro-credit offered to the poor people who are in most cases excluded from financial services by the commercial banks and other bigger Microfinance institutions because they are considered credit unworthy.
